Family Child Dedication | May 12 | 10:45AM Service
We will have our next Family child dedication on Sunday, May 12. Family dedication is where you publicly profess that your desire is to love God with all your heart by giving your child back to Him. The deadline to register is May 3. You can register at gowestwood.org/childdedication.
Senior Adult Worship & Potluck | May 22 | 10:30AM
Our senior adult worship and potluck is on Wednesday, May 22. All senior adults are invited to join us for a worship time and potluck lunch. We will have a time of singing, and hearing from God’s Word. Please bring a dish (meat, vegetable, salad, or dessert) to share and stay for lunch.
Church Office Closed for Memorial Day Holiday | May 27
Our Church Offices will be closed Monday, May 27 for Memorial Day holiday. We will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, May 28.
ESL Ministry is needing Volunteers for “English Conversation Café” | Beginning June 13
English as a Second Language will be hosting an “English Conversation Café” for ESL students learning English. This will be a time for them to engage with other members of Westwood over the summer and practice their English. The café will begin June 13 – August 29 and will meet on the 2 and 4 Thursday of the month from 6:30-7:30PM. All you need to know is English. “Conversation Café” will provide conversation starters and simple prompts to help conversation along. VBS 2024 “Scuba” | June 10-14 | Crew Leaders Needed
VBS will be here soon, and we need leaders to guide our kids through a week of diving into friendship with God! You don’t want to miss out on a fun week at Westwood! VBS Registration is open for kids who have completed 5k-6 grade. To learn more visit gowestwood.org/vbs.
JR Camp for Kids 2 & 3rd Grade | June 24-26 | Cost $140
Registration for Jr. Camp is now open for kids in 2 & 3 grades. They will be going to Camp Lee in Anniston, AL. This is a great camp to introduce your kids to summer camp. They will have adventure, fellowship, and dig deeper into God’s Word. To register, visit gowestwood.org/kids. Spots are limited so sign up today! One parent may attend with their child.
